Our Story
He said, “What are you reading?”
She said, “Likely something you’ve not heard of…it’s an obscure Pulitzer prize winning novel from a few years ago called, The Goldfinch.”
He said, “The Goldfinch? I finished it a couple of months ago.”
The Goldfinch was our first discovery of common ground. …so much more has followed.

First, We Got Engaged
On a weekend getaway to an 1850’s cottage listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Dann proposed to Liz in the Narthex of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Louisburg, NC.
